PFC (Power Factor Correction) chokes are normally used to regulate and limit the current harmonics of equipment such as motor drives, UPS systems and SMPS systems, in accordance with the EN61000-3-2 standard.

Characteristics of PFC chokes

• -25°C to +100°C temperature range.
•Insulation up to 3000VAC between windings.

Types of PFC chokes

• Toroidal core types, with or without auxiliary winding. Available in open, header-mounted and flame retarding case versions.
• Versions with PQ, EE or ETD cores, with or without auxiliary winding or shielding.
• Custom versions according to client’s specifications.
